The housing market has seen a dramatic downturn in business over the last 18 months. While property still remains an investment opportunity for buy to let customers, many have seen their investment reduce in value. Management companies and the service they provide are not under closer scrutiny.
Trustworthiness, Value for Money and Value for Service are now high priority to Lessees. This change in the market has created an environment for a property management company whose goal is to develop long-term relationships with customers by providing transparent and ethical business practices.
Below are a few familiar names that you will encounter working with us and what their primary role and functions are:
Alan Williamson - Managing Director
Alan heads up the Regalty Team conscious that he is just a cog in the wheel. Alan's primary role is to ensure service delivery to our customers, and maintaining the quality of that delivery. Alan also is focussed on resolving the major legal arguments that arise between management companies and 3rd parties, and the advocacy element of litigation. He enjoys the opportunity of helping those leaseholders who feel they have no power or choice making changes to the way their homes are run, and is very much a 'people person' - focussing on the needs and demands of leaseholders and developers in leasehold management. Both Alan & Jo have just won a landmark case in disputing a freeholders right to insure and in doing so have received the recognition of forming a formidable legal partnership - in the soon to be launched Regalty Law.
Julie Frith - Marketing & New Business Manager
Julie is focussed on delivering the Regalty brand and service to developers and owners and providing a softer approach to some of the issues that we have to handle.
Joanne Lawson - Inhouse Solicitor
Joanne joined us in 2010 as our legal portfolio and representation grew - assisting Alan in Leasehold Valuation Tribunal work and litigation issues that our customers regularly face. Joanne also heads up case preparation for the business, and overseeing the debt recovery aspects of the business. A practising and registered solicitor, Joanne represents very much the future of the business and operation and we are delighted to have her expertise onboard.
Nicola Mansour - Inhouse Solicitor
Nicola is currently engaged as a solicitor inhouse whilst Joanne Lawson is on maternity leave
Stephen Downing - Facilites Manager
Stephen is the Comedian of the office - a team player - and our resident IT expert (multi talented is not the word). When someone needs a printer jam sorting - he is there - and is a great property manager in the making. Capable, committed and willing to learn - Stephen has a bright future ahead of him at Regalty Estates and we are delighted to have him on board.
Chris Neufeld - Senior Finance Manager
Following the retirement of Howard Keates - Chris has come into Regalty and instantly has become . His experience is essential and the development of our database systems has led us to deliver a premium service that our competitors cannot match. An eye for detail, nicknamed 'Hawkeye' (his words, not ours!) - he is true to his role.
Colin Stokes & Julianne Cott - Out of Hours Team
Colin & Julianne handle our out of hours calls 365 days a year and ensure that no matter what time you call Regalty Estates we our at your service.
David Hollister - Secretarial Services
David heads up our front end operation and communications dealing primarily with answering telephone calls inbound during 8.30 am and 6 pm Monday to Friday - along with our team of experienced assistants who expertly handle all manner of leaseholder enquiries.
Jim Gray - Head of Maintenance
Following the success of Paul Sherwood by winning Highly Commended in the Awards 2011 - Jim is focussed on delivering a service presently to the estate in Manchester - Jim served as a Police Officer for 13 Years - and provides Crime Prevention Advice - however his latter experience running complex building teams Jim develop
Gallo Patatanian - Maintenance Manager
Gallo is based on our estate in Salford, Manchester and provides onsite maintenance to our client. He is a multi skilled trade that has high competence in Joinery and Plastering.
Sam Connolly - Maintenance
Sam provides weekday and weekend assistance on our estates in Manchester and is a Qualified Joiner.
